Notes (****): Anderson, unhappy with YesWest, put together this quasi-reunion of the Fragile line-up. While credited to the whole band, the music was mainly by Anderson and Howe. (5) was based on a prior solo piece of Wakeman's. (9) was left over from an abandoned Jon & Vangelis album.

On tour, Levin got ill, so with some dates cancelled, the band went into the studio to record a single version of "I'm Alive". Oliver Wakeman has reminisced about those sessions, which he visited: he was learning about guitars from Howe, while Dylan Howe was getting drumming trips from Bruford. Jeff Berlin stepped in for a number of dates, and thus appears on An Evening of Yes Music Plus. (HP, 2 Nov 2019)
