Notes: A compilation mainly from Howe's recent solo albums Portraits of Bob Dylan, Natural Timbre, Quantum Guitar, plus two older pieces with Paul Sutin from Voyagers and Seraphim. It is one of those compilations that seems more determined by what material was easy to license rather than any aesthetic choices, but it is decent enough as a sampler of Howe's late nineties work. The cover is spectacularly generic, including a vaguely Jon Anderson-like figure on the back for no apparent reason. (HP, 7 Dec 03)
