Notes: (***) An album of instrumental improvisations, assembled from multiple live shows, has some nice parts, but a good deal of it is pure noise. Although diehard Crimson fans would love this, this is not an album for the casual fan. However, how can one not like an album with a track called "Mother Hold the Candle Steady While I Shave the Chicken's Lip". (MP)
