Notes: An unremarkable Pete Banks session for this '90s pop/dance
album by singer Tonio K.
Tonio, born Steven M Krikorian, is an American singer/songwriter who
has released multiple albums under his own name and written for
other artists. Van Maarth and Tonio were in band The Raik's Progress
together as teenagers. He recorded with The Crickets before his
debut solo album in 1978. Romeo Unchained was his fourth,
released to good reviews. He released another three studio albums
before withdrawing as a solo performer to focus on writing. He went
on to write for Burt Bacharach, among others. (HP, 29 Dec 16)
