Notes: Matthews painted the cover inspired by the traditional
Christmas carol, inspired by a recording by Scheetz. In 2014,
Scheetz agreed to record a new version with Matthews. The CD was
released with a 14.8cm square Christmas card.
Matthews and Scheetz were already collaborating on the album Trinity, which was to be released
later. Payne, Coleman, Catley and Wakeman all also appear on Trinity
and "I Saw Three Ships" was included as a bonus track on its 2LP
