Notes: Giants, the third Days Between Stations album, forms a loose concept album. The band shot a video for "Witness the End of the World" with McBroom. However, the pandemic delayed the video production, so the video was not released until Sep 2023.

Sherwood had worked on the band's second album, In Extremis. Sherwood wrote a 16 Dec 2014 Facebook update: "tonight we are recording the 2nd song for the record (as yet untitled)." He talked of mastering the album in a Mar 2016 Facebook post, and in Apr 2016 listed Days Between Stations as one of the bands he is currently in. Erik Nielsen said on Facebook in Dec 2017 that he, with Paul Whitehead (worked with Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator, Le Orme), were finalising artwork for the third album (both worked on In Extremis).

Promo for the album describes Sherwood's role thus: "This time around Billy Sherwood sat in the produce[r] chair, and helped the band write and arrange the songs and lyrics. He even wrote a song for the album titled "The Common Thread." Sepand recalls, "I love how Billy captured us. Some of our final takes Billy captured, were us rehearsing parts while the tracks were armed or at most when playing a first or second take. It is pure, instinctual and unabashed playing with minimal post production effects. It's raw. I think we have our bearing and confidence now to stand on our legs." Oscar adds, "I would say Billy was a lot more involved with the writing of this album, in general. He really brought a different type of energy to DBS, a more rock and roll energy." While this text singles out (7) as written by Sherwood, the whole album is credited to Fuentes-Bills, Samzadeh and Sherwood together (plus Moulding on (4)). (HP, 2 Nov 23)
