Notes: Spear was formerly a founding member of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. This is a CD release of his 1972 album Electric Shocks (United Artists UAG 29381) combined with his 4-track EP 'Rebel Trouser' (United Artists UP 35221) from 1971. Banks plays on two tracks: his part on (4) is fairly limited, while he delivers some nice blues playing on (6). Note also music writer and Yes biographyer Chris Welch on drums and Graham Preskett, later a sessioner on 90125, on violin and more. (HP, 20 Mar 13)
