Notes: Previously an instrumental project, Beaten Paths
Different Ways, the fourth Rome Pro(G)ject album, adds
vocals for the first time. The first three tracks are new, but the
remainder are re-worked, some adding singing. Earlier versions of
(8) and (9) were on Of Fate and
Glory. (8) was a mere 3:53 previously and has been
considerably expanded here, while (9) has been cut down from its
previous 6:00 running time.
As well as big prog names from the Anglophone world, like the Hackett family, Cross and Jackson, the album also has some stars from the Italian prog scene. Lanzetti was in Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM). Di Giacomo was in Banco. (HP, 28 Nov 20)
