Notes (***): Released 29 Oct 2013, this was the 28th album from Italian singer Zero (real name Renato Fiacchini). It is a sequel to Amo – Capitolo I that came 7 months earlier. It was released on CD and 2LP. There was later a box set with volume I, entitled Amo – Capitolo III. (6) was the lead single, released 27 Sep 2013, followed by (4) on 27 Dec 2013 and then the Horn-produced (12) on 21 Jan 2014. All singles were digital only. The album made #1 in Italy and was the 29th best-selling album of the year in the country.

(12) is a big, orchestral Trevor Horn production and easily the standout track on the album. You see his usual crew: Weidner, Bloor, Hinton, Jardim etc. "Alla Fine" means "In the End". There was a video for (12) directed by Alessandro D'Alatri. It was filmed in period costumes and set in Castle Bracciano. It depicts a love triangle where Zero plays the protagonist, who is killed by poison in his tea by his wife (Andrea Preti), supported by her young lover (Euridice Axen). Thus, most of the video acts as Zero's death scene as he sings the song. (HP, 5 Jan 25)
